Every groom deserves an epic stag party but not every groom gets one because they leave it too late to organise it or they don’t know which activity to book. If your wedding day is fast approaching and you still haven’t organised your coach hire or stag party agenda, it’s time to get the ball moving. Grab a pen and paper so you can write down and compare prices and then pick up the phone and call around to see what’s available. You need to sort out: coach hire; an activity or entertainment; a venue to eat and drink in. Don’t forget to send word out to the boys so they can pencil in the event. If you are the outdoor adventure type, consider booking one of the following experiences for your stag party. Remember that some activities will have seasonal, height and age restrictions.

Paint Balling

If you’ve always want an excuse to shoot your best man with a semi-automatic air-powered gun, this could be your chance. Paint balling is great way to get a group to bond because it involves team work and strategy. No other sport allows grown men to dress up like soldiers and run around a purpose-built battle field shooting one another. Paint balling works for stag parties because it fills up a lot of time. The disadvantage of this activity is that ammunition can drain your pockets.

Quad Biking

Quad biking is not for the faint hearted; those four wheel drive, multi-terrain ATV beasts will get your heart pumping as you combat steep slopes, rivers, mud and all the challenges of an untamed landscape. Quad biking is the perfect activity for big boys who love big toys.

Go Karting

If the sound of squealing tyres, the smell of burning rubber and the thrill of speeding around a hairpin bend appeal to you, book an indoor or outdoor Go Karting experience.  This highly competitive activity will establish who the leading man is. The best thing about Go Karting is that it is a total adrenaline kick. The downside of Go Karting is that it’s usually over all too soon.

Kayaking

Kit up with your life jacket and helmet and paddle your way across scenic lakes or rapid rivers – whatever floats your boat. Kayaking can be as serene or as active as you want, depending on the challenge you set yourself. Kayaking is great for every outdoor enthusiast; the only downside is that someone might get wet!

Clay Shooting

This addictive sport tests will test who has the fastest reflexes and target accuracy. Clay shooting is good for a bunch of lads who want to be outdoors but don’t want to over exert themselves physically. The best thing about clay shooting is that you get to fire a real gun but be warned that you will walk away with a sore shoulder.

Sea Fishing

For the ultimate relaxing outdoor experience, rent a boat, put some beers in a cooler box and hook up your fishing lines. Sea fishing is a great idea for a chilled out stag party because it creates a space for relaxing and conversing. When you return to land, fire up the barbeque and cook your catch.

No matter which activity, or activities, you choose for your stag party, you might want to hire a coach to take the hassle out of getting around.
